When she became pregnant, Leila thought it was the end of her education. More than half of girls in Mozambique do not finish primary school. The most common reason they drop out is early pregnancy. Until recently, a law prevented pregnant girls from remaining in school. And once a girl leaves school, it's very difficult for her to return.

Leila was lucky. A Right To Play–trained coach in her village noticed her situation and helped her return to school. Her teacher welcomed her back, and helped her catch up to her peers and fight for her right to an education. Leila now has a chance to graduate.
