DKSH, Right To Play, and Liverpool FC Foundation jointly support Thailand’s youth
DKSH has expanded its 13-year long successful partnership with Right To Play. Together with the Liverpool FC Foundation, the three partners are committed to support the development of children, youth and communities in Thailand.
The Liverpool FC Foundation was established in 2010 and is the official charity of the world-renowned football club. The foundation uses the passion of fans and the unifying power of football to promote the potential of disadvantaged children. DKSH is the leading Market Expansion Services provider with a focus on Asia. The Group helps other companies and brands to grow in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Performance Materials and Technology sectors.
Together, the three organizations promote life skills, social cohesion and learning environments of children, young people and communities in Thailand. The project will focus on working with the most vulnerable children living in urban Bangkok, to develop critical life-skills, including , self-confidence, communication skills and resilience. The partners will also build and rehabilitate play spaces to ensure safe, accessible areas for young people to play and learn. DKSH supports the program by establishing sports fields and by organizing tournaments as well as voluntary initiatives. The three-year program targets 2,000 children and young people as well as 1,500 community members in Thailand. It focuses on three main areas of action:
- Improving life skills
- Increasing social cohesion
- Creating child-friendly learning environments
