Swimming for a good cause. The fascination of open water swimming and their loyal commitment to the needs of children in our programs prompted the Young Professionals to swim across Lake Zurich once again and collect donations for the most vulnerable children around the world.

THE POWER OF A REFUGEE CHILD’S IMAGINATION

There are more refugees in the world than ever before, and millions of them are children. These children face an uncertain future, one where the hope, joy, and excitement of childhood are drowned under grief, loss, anxiety, and other negative emotions. But refugee children can resist those emotions defining their future through the power of creativity.

HOW YOUTH ARE USING MUSIC TO PROMOTE SOCIAL CHANGE IN LEBANON

For many children, Lebanon is not their first home. Their families came here as refugees. Others had to drop out of school to support their families because of the economic crisis in Lebanon. For all of them, the program "Music for Social Change" creates a place where they can meet to talk about their problems, get support from their peers and express their feelings through music.

Ignite a passion for learning by providing resources that make learning and life-skills development active, engaging and fun. Inside the classroom, games help children to actively engage in their lessons, enhancing their learning. Outside of the classroom, they play through performance, music or dance to gain critical life skills.
